Wood cladding. Natural, beautiful, durable and British
It’s in our name- we champion UK grown hardwoods and only ever buy our trees from certified woodlands in the UK. Our external wood cladding is made from UK grown Oak and Chestnut, giving you the guarantee of a durable hardwood cladding with no need for the use of harsh chemicals or preservatives.
All of our wood cladding is available as either a square edged or waney edged board, with the option for lap boarding or T&G on discussion.
All of our wood cladding is sawn fresh to order and available in widths up to 300mm and lengths up to 6.0m. Typically customers choose 150mm size boards and opt for a castle board finish.
We’re at hand to offer wood cladding inspiration and ideas where needed though, so contact us today and find out how we can help. We always encourage customers to send across inspirational photos so we can help match your design dreams.
If it’s interior cladding that you’re after, all of our interior cladding is now sold through our sister website, Coppice and Crown. We’ve built such a strong reputation for our flooring and internal cladding that it deserved its own platform to shine.
Can I have set lengths and widths?
On request and through conversation with us, we can accommodate your design brief.
Is all your cladding durable?
Being a hardwood, Oak and Chestnut are a lot more durable than softwoods such as larch and Douglas fir. There is no need to treat our cladding, just let is weather naturally, turning a beautiful silver in time.
I need certain lengths and widths, is this possible?
Yes, contact us for a quote and more information.
What thickness do you recommend?
Most cladding is sawn to 18mm or 21mm thick, but we can be flexible on this to fit your project.
What's the most popular type of wood cladding?
Most of our customers purchase our castle board cladding. This is made using 150mm wide boards with a 25mm gap between each board. A 75mm board then covers this gap.
